How often do you encounter an exciting new denture product?
VERSACRYL is
a heat-sensitive, multi-purpose acrylic that provides more than 50 unique
applications to improve removable dental appliances, by enhancing retention,
esthetics and patient comfort.
This acrylic
can create any part of a denture to become adjustable, simply by using
warm water. It can be extended, for example, into any undercut to mechanically
retain a denture, it can be used to produce repeatable thermo-relines,
it can replace metal clasps on partials, it can create sublingual wings
to stabilize lower dentures
and much more.
In addition, the consistency of VERSACRYL is pre-determined to furnish a complete
range of rigidities: from traditional hard to very soft when heated. This
innovative material also possesses an internal memory, which maintains
a stable reference point, since it can always be returned to its original
shape.
VERSACRYL's versatility
is based on the four major qualities of the product:
- The rigidity
of VERSACRYL is controllable by varying the proportions of the Softener
and Hardener, allowing an infinite range of consistencies: from very
soft while heated, to as hard as denture base;
- After
polymerization, VERSACRYL remains thermo-elastic allowing it to be heat-softened
in water for adaptation to soft tissues and teeth, over and over again;
- VERSACRYL's
unique memory, makes it automatically return to its original shape while
heated, and;
- VERSACRYL
will chemically bond to itself or any other acrylic product.
